"Tibetan silver" from Hong Kong - is it all unsafe

0 votes
Purchased a couple of rings from sellers in Hong Kong (with reasonable / good feedback - not sure if that counts !). Afterwards I read that it can be toxic, & contains lead & sometimes arsenic. Are the rings unsafe to wear ? How do we know if they contain lead & arsenic or are all Tibetan silver rings unsafe to wear ? Please can someone advise. Many thanks

If it contains substances like lead or arsenic you probably don't want it anywhere near your body.

I'm sure some Tibetan Silver rings are safe. However, there are no 100% certain tests outside of a laboratory setting. Try looking up 'toxic metal safety kit' on google.
